Get a comprehensive evaluation of your fertility. Our package includes the following:
  • Online questionnaire
  • Initial consultation (Video or in-clinic Consultation at Harley Street or Canary Wharf, London, with Dr Irfana Koita)
  • Follow-up consultation (Video Consultation with Dr Irfana Koita)
  • Fertility scan (Antral follicle count, between days 1-5 of the cycle)
  • Hormonal profile (AMH, FSH, LH, E2, Prolactin; between days 1-5 of the cycle)
  • Rubella

This preconception package is intended for couples who reside in London or are willing to travel to London to receive a detailed fertility assessment. In this fertility service package, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire using a laptop or smartphone. Following the online or in-clinic consultation, fertility assessment procedures and scans will be determined.

Tests for the female partner, such as the fertility scan to assess the antral follicle count, hormonal profile to determine the ovarian function and other laboratory tests to confirm general health and well-being, will be performed.

The package will include sperm tests to determine the count, shape, motility, and ability to deliver good quality genetic material to the egg cell. Also included in this service is sperm culture testing for infection-causing microbes in your semen

Please allow us 7-14 working days to review the results after the samples have been collected. An email link to our secure patient portal will be sent to you with expert guidance on the next steps.

    Who is it for?

    Our packages are designed for couples who want to boost their chances of conception.

    How does it work?

    Your first step is to select a package based on your personal circumstances. You will then be sent an online questionnaire along with the confirmation of your video consultation. Our specialist will have a detailed discussion at the appointment and will plan your next steps. She will also assist you in booking your subsequent tests. A complimentary follow-up consultation will be offered to discuss the outcome of your test results, to answer any further questions and to firm up a treatment plan.

    What are the advantages?

    IVF Matters is a UK wide, one stop fertility service. We offer top quality, personalised care at affordable prices. Female age is one of the biggest predictors of outcome and we aim to help you reach a diagnosis in under four weeks. You can then take your test results to your NHS GP or continue further treatment with us.

    Where will my fertility scan be performed?

    You will be offered an ultrasound scan at one of our 80 recommended ultrasound clinics across the UK, close to where you live.

    When should I contact you to book my fertility scan and fertility tests?

    Email us on day 1 of your cycle (day 1 is the day when your full flow starts), even if it is a weekend.

    Any prerequisite for the semen tests?

    - 2-3 days of abstinence (no more than 4 days)

    - No history of raised temperature in the last 3 months, as it can influence the results of the sperm DNA test

    Kindly empty your bladder, wash your hands and genitalia before producing a sample to limit contamination due to bacteria in the lower urethra and skin. Do not touch the inner surface of the culture pot.

    Who will analyse the samples?

    The Doctors Laboratory, UK’s leading laboratory service will analyse all your samples except for the Sperm DNA fragmentation test. This sample will be processed by Examen Laboratory.

    How quickly do I get the results?

    The results will be available within a day or two, for most tests. For some specialised tests it can take between 7-14 working days to get the results.

    Can I pay in instalments?

    IVF Matters is the 1st fertility service in the UK to offer interest-free payment plans for diagnostic tests. We offer 2 payment plans - Splitit and LayBuy.

    Splitit enables you to pay with an existing VISA or MasterCard credit card by splitting the cost into interest and fee-free monthly payments, without additional registrations or applications. To be eligible, you must have the entire amount of your purchase available on your card. At the time of purchase, you will only be charged for the first payment. The remaining balance will be held on the credit card until the final payment is made. 

    LayBuy lets you spread the total cost over 6 weekly automatic payments. The first payment equal to one-sixth of the purchase price occurs once your order is completed. The remaining 5 payments are processed each week on the day of the original purchase. You will be required to log in to or set up a Laybuy account to use this payment facility. Selecting Laybuy at checkout will provide you an opportunity to register for an account.

     

    How do I opt for this service?

    When will I receive my purchase?

    Your order will be processed as if you had paid in full directly.

     

    What if I have a problem with payments?

    Paying with Splitit is always 0% interest and there are never any late fees. Other charges may apply from your credit card issuer. Laybuy will charge Late Payment Fees, so please do ensure you have adequate funds in your account for the duration of your payment schedule.
