The preconception package helps you and your partner boost your chances of conception from the comfort of your home. This fertility service package will include an online questionnaire that you’ll complete on your laptop or smartphone. After that, an online or in-clinic consultation with our fertility expert, Dr Irfana Koita, will help determine the fertility assessment procedures and scans you’ll need to do. Our team will arrange testing at a nearby clinic, so you never have to drive to London.
Tests for the female partner will be performed at an independent clinic, including a fertility scan to assess the antral follicle count, a hormonal profile to evaluate ovarian function, and other laboratory tests to confirm general health and well-being. Once the samples are collected, allow us 2 working days to receive the results. These will be shared with you via our secure patient portal.
This fertility assessment package will test the quality of your sperm cells via an app you’ll download to your smartphone. Additionally, it will include a sperm culture test to help you determine if there are common infection-causing microorganisms present in your semen.
You will have the opportunity to discuss the results with our expert and get feedback on what to do next.

Your first step is to select a package based on your personal circumstances. You will then be sent an online questionnaire along with the confirmation of your video consultation. Our specialist will have a detailed discussion at the appointment and will plan your next steps. She will also assist you in booking your subsequent tests. A complimentary follow-up consultation will be offered to discuss the outcome of your test results, to answer any further questions and to firm up a treatment plan.
IVF Matters is a UK wide, one stop fertility service. We offer top quality, personalised care at affordable prices. Female age is one of the biggest predictors of outcome and we aim to help you reach a diagnosis in under four weeks. You can then take your test results to your NHS GP or continue further treatment with us.
You will be offered an ultrasound scan at one of our 80 recommended ultrasound clinics across the UK, close to where you live.
Yes. Our laboratory collaborates with the Superdrug Nurse Clinic. Call 0333 3111 007 once you receive your test kit to book an appointment at a clinic near you. Take your personal ID and the test kit with you. The Superdrug clinic will charge a fee of £30;
Those of you who live in London can attend our walk-in centre in the Harley Street area.
Alternatively, you can get your blood drawn at a local pharmacy. You will need to pay the blood collection fee directly to the pharmacy. Please take your test kit to the appointment and ensure the vial is labelled with your full name and DOB before returning it with the test form. Humm lets you spread the total cost over 12 monthly payments. The first payment, equal to 1/12 of the purchase price, occurs once your order is completed. "We felt that many IVF doctors just put you on the �conveyor belt� and Dr Irfana was the first one who really focused on supplements and lifestyle changes in order to maximise for chance of success. She also proudly mentioned at the consultation that I think about 10-15% of her couples get pregnant naturally just through the lifestyle changes which was very aligned with our own mindset. When it came to the actual process we found Dr Irfana to be extremely thorough and responsive via texts. Tests were done often to see how my body responded and meds were tweaked accordingly as things progressed. We had a negative outcome with the NHS previously which turns out uses the same protocols for everyone. So the flexibility and thoroughness with Dr Irfana was a welcome change. In the end, even though we ended up having the same amount of eggs and then fertilised embryos, the outcome with all Dr Irfana�s efforts was positive and I got pregnant with the first transfer.
